Day 09: Agra / Fatehpur Sikri / Ranthambore (288 Kms) (05 ½ Hrs Drive)

At 8:30 am, we will drive to Ranthambore en route we will stop at the deserted capital city of Fatehpur Sikri. This abandoned capital of the Mughals is a perfectly preserved city at the height of the empire’s splendor. The city divided into religious and secular parts has interesting well-sculpted buildings.

Following the visit, we will continue our drive to Ranthambore.

Upon arrival in Ranthambore, we will check in to hotel, Ranthambore Regency.

Day 10 – Day 11: Ranthambore

Morning and afternoon, we will go on jungle excursion in a Shared jeep. Ranthambore is known to have India's Friendliest tigers Assured of protection; these nocturnal creatures are seen often in the day. Sprawled on the Aravalli and Vindhya ranges of Rajasthan, Ranthambore National Park encompasses an area of 410 Sq. km. in which lives a healthy population of about 40 tigers. A large number of deer inhabit the area and leopards are occasionally sighted. The Pandam Taloa Lake, located adjacent to the Jogi Mahal hunting lodge, is the park's favorite water source. Smaller pools at Raj Bagh and Milak also attract a variety of wild life the best way to explore. Ranthambore is in canter as the park is well connected by arterial roads and tracks. Some of the popular sighting areas are Nal Ghati, Lahpur, Bakuala, Anantpur and the Kachida valley. Mammals: Tiger, Panther, Hyena, Jackal, Jungle Cat, Caracal, Sloth Bear, Sambar, Chital, Nilgai, Wild Boar, Chinkara, Indian hare mongoose. Birds: Bonelli's eagle, crested serpent eagle, great Indian horned owl, grey partridge sand grouse, quail, spur fowl, common peafowl, tree pie, paradise flycatcher, pheasant tailed jacana, painted stork, black stork, spoonbill, green pigeon, ducks.

Overnight at Ranthambore Regency, Ranthambore (Deluxe Room) (B, L & D)

Day 12: Ranthambore / Delhi (Sgac Ndls Sf Exp - 1732 / 2235 Hrs) (First AC)

Morning, we will go on jungle excursion in a Shared jeep.

(Though the checkout time is 12 noon, every effort would be made to retain rooms till as late as possible without additional charges – Subject to availability)

In time, we will transfer to the Sawai Madhopur train station to board the train to Delhi.

Meeting and assistance upon arrival at the Delhi train station and we will transfer to hotel, Jaypee Siddharth.

Day 13: Delhi / Guwahati (6E 2022 - 0910 / 1125 Hrs)
Guwahati / Kaziranga (224 Kms) (04 ½ Hrs Drive)

Morning, we will transfer to the Delhi airport to board the flight to Guwahati.

Meeting and assistance upon arrival at the Guwahati airport, as our representative will welcome you and from here, we will drive to Kaziranga.

image not foundOn the banks of Brahmaputra River, Kaziranga covers approximately 106,255 square acres, and includes swamps and tall thickets of elephant grass, making this ideal habitat for the Indian one-horned rhino. The park was declared a sanctuary in 1940 in an effort to protect rhinos from poaching. Indian rhino. A vast stretch of coarse, tall elephant grass, marshland and dense tropical forests, it has managed to survive the onslaught of poachers, urbanization and burgeoning human populations. Plans are already afoot to extend the park’s boundaries to include the Brahmaputra River to the north and a part of the Mikir hill ranges to the south.

Day 14 – Day 15: Kaziranga National Park

We will proceed for morning and afternoon jungle excursion in the open top vehicle in Kaziranga National Park. The visit in this park enables one to experience the wetland ecosystem with its tall wet grassland and giant plant-eating animals – mega herbivores such as the Rhino and Asian Elephant. The adaptation of various endemic birds and mammals to this unique and constantly changing ecosystem can be witnessed. With over 490 species being recorded in the Park, Kaziranga is an ideal place for bird watching. The visit in the park enables one to concentrate on wildlife activity. Guides and drivers (who have worked with international wildlife film crews, ornithologists and botanists) constantly go into the Park and are best informed about recent sightings and whereabouts. They will help you to plan your activities. The frequent and prolonged sightings of animals such as the Rhino, Wild Buffalo, Swamp Deer and Elephant give fantastic opportunities to the photographer. The lush landscape, which remains green throughout the year, is an ideal backdrop.

The vast open country makes Kaziranga National Park very accessible and wildlife viewing fairly pleasurable. Here one can leave in the early hours of the dawn for an elephant-back-ride. Authorized and trained Mahouts who guide visitors through the park train the Elephants. One could see wild Elephant herds roaming around or Indian Rhinos browse past visitors unconcernedly. Since Kaziranga wildlife Sanctuary is easily accessible, its provides a chance to see animals in the wild at such close quarters, thus making a trip to this National Park a very rewarding experience.

Day 16: Kaziranga / Guwahati (224 Kms) (04 ½ Hrs Drive)
Guwahati / Delhi (6E 265 - 1630 / 1920 Hrs)

Following breakfast, we will drive to the Guwahati airport to board the flight to Delhi.

Meeting and assistance upon arrival at the Delhi airport and we will transfer to hotel, Pride Plaza Aerocity.

Day 17: Delhi / Departure

In time, we will transfer you to the International airport to board your onward flight back home.
