Day 01: Arrival / Delhi
Welcome to India, or as we say 'Atithi Devo Bhava' (The guest is an incarnation of God). Thank you for giving us the opportunity to serve you!!
Late night arrival, meeting and assistance upon arrival, as our representative welcome you and escort you to your car. From here, we will transfer you to hotel, Lutyens Bungalow.
Whilst the room keys and check-in is organized, our representative would introduce the tour to you and hand over the documents to you.
Overnight at Pride Plaza – Aerocity, Delhi (Deluxe Room) (No Meals)
Day 02: Delhi / Bagdogra (6E 6650 – 0730 / 0925 Hrs)
Bagdogra / Darjeeling (72 Kms) (02 ½ – 03 Hrs Drive)
Early morning, we will transfer you to the Delhi airport for your flight to Bagdogra.
Meeting and assistance upon arrival at the Bagdogra airport and from here we will drive to Darjeeling.
Standing high in the Himalayas at an altitude of 2134m, 'Dorje Ling', or place of the Thunderbolt, offers breathtaking views of snow-capped mountain peaks, with the Kanchendzonga rising higher than all the others. Often referred to as the "Queen of the Hills", it remains just as alluring with its tiny waterfalls, little villages and a narrow gauge railway track. Surrounded by World Famous Tea Gardens and snow capped mountains, Darjeeling remains one of the most exotic destinations. Graeme Westlake in his book ‘An introduction to hill stations on India’ refers to Darjeeling as having "A view Scarcely Unrivalled on Earth".
Upon arrival in Darjeeling, we will check in to hotel, Cedar Inn.
Evening, we will embark on a tranquil walk to Observatory Hill, ascending a scenic path adorned with fluttering prayer flags and small shrines. This short uphill trek from Chowrasta leads you to a serene viewpoint offering breathtaking panoramas of the majestic Kanchenjunga range. At the summit, the revered Mahakal Temple stands as a testament to the harmonious blend of Hindu and Buddhist traditions, enriching your journey with cultural and spiritual significance.

Day 03: Darjeeling
Early morning, we will visit Tiger Hill. It is 13 kms from Darjeeling and one can see beautiful sunrise and Himalayan Range like Kanchandzonga, Mount Everest etc. One can see the horizon changing colors just before sunrise and then the entire Himalayan range turn golden. It is truly a majestic sight. (Tiger Hill cannot be guaranteed at the time of sunrise as there is a limitation on the total number of vehicles permitted to visit every day, in case the visit cannot be done early in the morning, the point will be visited anytime during the day)
Following, we will return to our hotel for breakfast.
After breakfast, we will enjoy toy train ride up to Ghoom. (Subject to operation of this train & availability of the seats)
Toy Train – The spectacular landscape unfolds as the 2-foot gauge Darjeeling Himalayan railway, opened in 1881, labours at about 10 mph criss-crossing the road. It has tiny 4-wheel locomotives (some over 100 years old) like living legends. One can experience the sound, smell and romance of a bygone era. DHR is a work of genius and technological achievement of 1881. It has social and cultural importance. It is beautiful and has outstanding universal appeal. Based on its unique features, it is considered to be of lasting significance to mankind.
Upon arrival, we will visit the Ghoom Monastery. This is oldest Monastery in the area which was built in 1875 and one can see the image of Mythey Buddha 15ft. height.
Following, we will return to our hotel by car.
Afternoon, we will proceed for city tour and visit the following sites –
Himalayan Mountaineering Institute / Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park (Both Closed on Thursday) – The Himalayan Mountaineering Institute was started in Darjeeling when Tenzing Norgay climbed Everest to give training to learn Mountaineering and other adventure sports related to mountaineering and in that Institute one can see equipment etc. used by Mr. Tenzing Norgay and Everest Museum having complete details on Everest attached to institute one can visit Himalayan Zoological Park where one can see Himalayan animals like Snow Leopard, Tibetan Wolf, Tibetan Yak, Himalayan Black Bear and several varieties of birds.
Tibetan Self - Help Centre Or Refugee Centre (Closed on Sunday) – This institute is run by Tibetan Refugees to preserve their handicrafts and one can see making of Tibetan Carpets, Leather work, Paintings and Wooden work etc.

Day 04: Darjeeling / Ging Tea House (14 Kms) (45 Minutes Drive)
At 10:00 am, we will drive to Ging Tea House. Nestled amidst lush emerald slopes, this heritage estate welcomes you with unparalleled serenity and old-world charm. As you arrive, you will be greeted with a warm traditional welcome and a refreshing cup of the estate’s finest single-origin tea.
Upon arrival we will check in to Ging Tea House. After check-in, unwind in your elegant colonial-style room, where wooden floors, antique furniture, and sweeping views of the rolling tea gardens create an atmosphere of timeless luxury. Take a moment to relax and absorb the crisp mountain air from your private sit-out before stepping out to explore the estate.
Tea Garden Stroll & Factory Tour (Complimentary) – In the afternoon, embark on a guided walk through the sprawling tea gardens, where you will learn about the art of organic tea cultivation. Stroll through neatly pruned bushes, observe skilled tea pluckers at work, and understand the nuances that make Darjeeling tea so globally celebrated.
Following the garden walk, visit the on-site factory to witness the fascinating transformation from fresh leaves to exquisite brews. The tea-making process—from withering and rolling to oxidation and drying—is an experience that will deepen your appreciation for this cherished beverage.
Sunset Tea Tasting Session (Complimentary) – As the sun begins to set over the Kanchenjunga range, settle in for a curated tea-tasting session. A tea sommelier will introduce you to the estate’s finest blends, allowing you to savor delicate aromas and unique flavors while learning about the region’s rich tea heritage.
Dinner at the Estate Indulge in a sumptuous multi-course meal featuring fresh, locally sourced ingredients. The estate’s culinary team crafts exquisite dishes inspired by both Anglo-Indian and Nepalese flavors, ensuring a delightful dining experience.

Day 05: Ging Tea House
Wake up to the gentle chirping of Himalayan birds and the mesmerizing sight of morning mist rolling over the tea gardens. Begin your day with a cup of freshly brewed tea served in your room before heading out for a fulfilling morning.
Breakfast with a View Enjoy a hearty breakfast spread in the estate’s charming dining area or opt for a special outdoor breakfast setup amidst the tea bushes. Savor homemade breads, farm-fresh eggs, traditional Darjeeling delicacies, and, of course, a perfect cup of Ging Tea.
As per your interest, you can choose from the following –
Among other activities they have a Billiards table, badminton court, board games and a library in the facility.
Else, you can relax in the gardens; soak in the sun, with a view of the Kanchenjunga among plush green tea beds.

Day 06: Ging Tea Estate / Bagdogra (81 Kms) (03 ½ Hrs Drive)
Bagdogra / Delhi (6E 2241 - 1530 / 1745 Hrs)
Morning, we will drive to the Bagdogra airport for your flight to Delhi.
Meeting and assistance upon arrival at the Delhi airport and we will transfer you to hotel, Pride Plaza – Aerocity.
Overnight at Pride Plaza – Aerocity, Delhi (Deluxe Room) (B)
Day 07: Delhi / Departure
(Though the checkout time is 12 noon, every effort would be made to retain rooms till as late as possible without additional charges – Subject to availability)
In time, we will transfer you to the Delhi international airport to board your onward flight back home.
