Day 01: Arrival / Negombo

Welcome to Sri Lanka, the teardrop – shaped island just off the coast of India.

Meeting & assistance upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your first destination of the Tour, Negombo

Day 02: Negombo / Pinnawala / Dambulla

After Breakfast transfer to the center point of cultural triangle, Dambulla . En-route visit the Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage where you can  get up close and personal with some of Sri Lanka's largest animals, and observe them going about their daily life, feeding, playing and bathing in the local river. Afterwards visit The Serene Cave Temples at Dambulla that house hundreds of statues of Buddha and are completely covered in ancient frescoes.

Day 03: Dambulla / Hiriwadunna / Polonnaruwa / Dambulla

Morning, we visit the Hiriwadunna  village where you can see the people cultivating & gardening. Visit to a small house made out of mud and enjoy a homemade lunch with the villagers. Whist reaching lake the cart stops near boat and drink Kurumba or Thambili (Young Coconut or King Coconut). Thereafter sailing the Habarana Lake by Oruwa (Local made catamaran) to witness the villages are fishing in the Lake. This memorable village visit takes nearly three hours.   There after visit Polonnaruwa. The capital of Sri Lanka from the 11th to 13th century, one of the most interesting parts of Sri Lanka, has splendid and spectacular statues, palaces and monasteries that fascinates the eyes of the tourists.

Day 04: Dambulla / Sigiriya / Kandy

After breakfast you can climb  the famous rock fortress of Sigiriya – ‘Lion Rock’. Built by King Kasyapa in the 5th century, this impressive site is located on top of a vast 200-metre granite rock, some 750 steps up!

Afterwards transfer to the Hill capital  Kandy. En-route visit a spice plantation in Matale, where an explanatory tour of each tree, each plant species and the use of the latter will be held in the kitchen. You can see cinnamon, cardamom, pepper, and many other species which can be purchased at the same stores. Also visit Batik Factory - Where you can watch the spectacular Batik prints are made in skirts, blouses, pillows, etc.

Day 05: Kandy

After breakfast visit  the Peradeniya Botanical Gardens. There are over 5,000 kinds of trees, many native plant species including indigenous, alien or new species. What is notable in this garden is the large collection of orchids has.

Afterwards you can visit  the Kandy City markets , Gem Museum  and Wood Carving Center. Evening you will  get  entertained by a local dance performance followed by a visit to the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha  where you will witness a traditional Puja Ceremony.

Evening, we will enjoy Gala Dinner
